Application Process

To apply for a grant you will have to decide which Programme, Priority and Measure is appropriate to support your project.

Not all Measures will be "open" for applications all of the time. Implementing Bodies will advertise 'calls for projects' in the press, on their Web sites or through other publicity means designed to reach all potential applicants. You may only apply to Measures which are "open". Details of which Measures are currently "open", "closed" or "unavailable" are shown in the lists of Measures (Click Here)

When you have identified the Programme, Priority and "open" Measure under which you want to apply click on the option "Apply for this Measure."

An application comprises two Parts A and B, both of which must be completed for you to make a valid application

Part A - this part of the application identifies the Programme, Priority and Measure to which you are applying and seeks some "Common" information that is relevant to all applications irrespective of the type of grant sought.

Applicants have the option of completing Part A in one or several sessions on the computer and will be given on-line help to guide them though the process. This part of the completed application is automatically e-mailed to the Implementing Body for the Measure involved. (Alternatively you may complete the form manually and post it in. Please contact the relevant Implementing Body for a copy of the form Part A and B)

Part B - You will be given a choice for obtaining Part B of the Application Form - the most convenient choice is to print it yourself. Applications to ESF funded projects will be offered the choice of an electronic version. You must quote your application reference number on your Part B. Your reference number will be shown to you after have completed Part A - please take a careful note of your reference number and the address to which to send Part B.

An application will not be regarded as complete unless both Part A and Part B are received by the Implementing Body.

The Implementing Body will liase with applicants to negotiate the application and if successful to finalise the terms of the Letter of Offer
